IAC/InterActiveCorp, the Internet media conglomerate headed by Barry Diller, plans to introduce a local information service next week that combines Web search, city guides, maps and event listings, in one of the company’s broadest moves yet to combine its assets, Mr. Diller said yesterday.

If you read the article, it looks like they are launching ASK local (called AskCity) and will syndicate event listings from Ticketmaster and evite. At some point, they'll realize that if they free their data and add an affiliate program to Ticketmaster, that there'll be a million websites that will republish their data and drive traffic to TM and evite.
