There's been a large amount of talk about putting ads in RSS feeds. There is more than one company that has started ad networks focussed specifically on advertising in RSS. (eg pheedo, rssads)
There has also been a lot of talk about whether this is a good thing or not. My biggest beef is that I think that many of the solutions don't need a blogger to participate at all. With the popularity of web hosted newsreaders and alert services like bloglines and my feedster and pubsub, rss ad networks don't need blogger's permission at all.
Anyways, Rafat Ali is skirting the whole issue by putting an ad right in his weblog post. It is usually the simplest ways of doing things that work the best.

So, here's my go of it... Below should be a google ad. (it is purposefully ugly so you know it is an ad)
