I mentioned b4 that I started the eureksterblog. I am not sure if I'll continue to post there. Right now, I plan to post stuff here under the eureksterblog category. We'll see.
Anyways, I do a search every month using overture's inventory tool to see how many people search for eurekster in that month. Here's February's stats.
Here's the stats for this month:
Searches done in March 2004
Count Search Term
534 eurekster
55 blog eurekster
34 eurekster inc
The number of searches are much higher this month. From 353 in December to 534. This is the first month that "blog eurekster" shows up in the search history. I imagine that that is people looking for the blog I've started. Its pretty amazing that the weblog about a new service can pull in as much as 15% of the number of searches for the site itself. I imagine this would change as the site becomes more popular, but this stat may show how much people are looking for the "real" scoop on a service before they try it, by looking for a weblog about it. Pretty Neat, ha?
Since the eureksterblog is moving to this site, will there be a way to sign up for email updates? I was getting updates from bloglet but I don't see anything like that here.

wow, Bart. I hadn't thought of that. I didn't think anyone was that hooked on it. I'll see what I can do. I'd recommend getting a newsreader if you want to "subscribe" to a bunch of blogs. Let me know if you want help figuring that out.

Shouldn't be that populated. Keep it simple.
