Someone who got to know our business quite well a few months ago said to me that the business will grow by adding sales people and project managers. I agree. It can.
Of course, he didn't understand how the business scales without more head count. But, that's atleast 6 months away from happening based on our current plan. And we'll still need salespeople and project managers.
So, we're looking for sales people. They'll start out selling sponsorship for events. So, a person with print, radio or tv ad sales experience is perfect. Of course, someone with event sponsorship sales and activation experience is even better. Working with us, they'll learn how to sell our model, which I call "backwords sponsorship sales" where the event is conceived based on the goals of the sponsor, our client. They'll also learn how to sell online advertising and email marketing services to local businesses. Experience doing these things is a plus. But, the primary focus is to deliver sponsorship sales for already successful events first.
