If you are a one trick pony.
If you are afraid of competition.
If you aren't prepared to be transparent.
If you got no balls. (I don't mean that in a physiological sense.)

It's never a good time to start a company. It's never going to be easy or cheap. Nothing will really be a "turnkey" startup, no matter how much VC you get or how much money you have socked away somewhere.

So what's wrong with right now? If there's never a good time, it's always the best time. I just can't wait until I can start selling overpriced pet food or something equally heavy and stupid online, like people did back in the '90s. Those were the golden days of the Web. Get a hook, get your VC, sell it off, get out from under it and watch the collapse from the lido deck.
