My birthday is today. If you want to do something nice for me, for my birthday, please introduce me to venture capitalists and event planners and promoters OR large internet companies that can provide an audience and a legion of consumer generated media prosumers/affiliates to spread the word about events.
This'll help me catch up to some of these great people....
At age 29:
The Buddha decided to renounce the world and abandon family and posessions. Seven years later, he realized this brought him no closer to the wisdom he sought.
Scottish-born inventor Alexander Graham Bell transmitted the first complete sentence by telephone.
Agatha Christie, the most translated writer in the world, published her first book.
Michael Faraday demonstrated electromagnetic rotation, leading the way to the invention of the electric motor.
Blacksmith Kirkpatrick MacMillan invented the first real bicycle.
English novelist Emily Jane Bronte wrote the romance Wuthering Heights .
Singer-songwriter Carole King released her best-selling album Tapestry.
French naturalist George Dagobert founded the science of comparative anatomy.
Happy Birthday Pete.
I heard that Doug is sending stippers to your office.

Happy Birthday Pete, you beat me by a day and quite a few years. :) I've e-mailed your present.
I'm going out with a group of friends to a nice French restaurant here in Melbourne tonight and will make sure I have good glass of red in your honour.

Hey Pete, Happy Birthday!!!!
The big 2-9 huh?
Well I don't know any important people, but if I did I would send them your way. For now maybe I should just focus on those projects you sent me.
Hope you have a great birthday evening!!

Thanks Pelle. You too. Been loving your blog.

Thanks Linnea! I don't think these people are any more important than others. They'd just be able to help me in a big way. All the stuff going on ads up.
I am hoping we can get the "projects" going too. That'll be good for both of us.

Pete - sorry I didn't see this until now. Happy birthday. To add to your list, wasn't it Jack Benny who always claimed to be 29? That's a lot of stuff to list if I am correct.
Have fun!
