Events + web 2.0 are a huge opportunity for mind share and commercially. Maybe the biggest one after search and publishing. And if you subscribe to Ethan's definition of events: planned, implicit(opening hours for the bowling alley) and unplanned (ie news), events are by far the biggest. What do you look forward to more? From what I understand on Ethan's weblog, he is coming at the opportunity from a different angle than us. Consumer awareness will be more important than event planner awareness for Ethan. We are obviously more dependent on event planner awareness. But, I expect us to meet at the middle soon enough.
