Professional Nightlife Promoters: Oxymoron?

So, I am running a software/event planning/marketing company. 2 full time employees. 3 part time. Steady customers ranging from large banks to established night clubs, to representatives from Fortune 500 companies.

I offer to let a nightlife promoter use our tools on a cost per attendee basis, with a link to this as some background, and this is the response I get:

> lets see how you do
>
> you get a list of people that want to come and they get in reduced price
> and you get paid per person on your list that comes in
>
> let me know if you are interested tell everyone that they are on
<removed> guestlist
> at the end of the night you will be paid
>
> just send us your list before 4 pm on friday

I won't link to their site to show you how hideous it is or how inactive it is. Suffice to say, that jackasses like this do make money from nightlife promotions. I certainly know how the game is played. And how this guy is playing it. The challenge that I have is finding promoters that I can trust, that are somewhat intelligent, and that are open to some new revolutionary ways of managing nightlife promotions online. The tools are modeled after nightlife promotions and fit right into the model for managing sub promoters and their compensation, in the same way that this guy is proposing. I am even willing to get paid based on performance. However, the promoter has to realize that I won't be hanging out at nightclubs until 2AM to collect payment. Nor, will I be bringing my 50 friends to get deaf to techno and pay for $10 drinks. No offense to anyone that does this. That part of my life is pretty much over, though. Been there. Done that.

So, does anyone know any professional nightlife promoters?
