Unrelated Social Software Stuff

eHarmony gets 110M round of financing. They must have some expensive Phd's. What the f&*% are they going to do with $110M. I can't imagine spending that on the operation of a dating site - even though (or especially because) eHarmony is the closest thing to a "I want to get married" site.  Maybe I am wrong. Maybe we shouldn't be bootstrapping with an angel investment.

And an interesting article on mobile games, competition and social networks. We seriously need someone that can get us up to speed (maybe even innovate) with wireless.

Stowe blogs about his experience with BaseCamp. I really wish someone would combine this interface/functionality with bugzilla. We've gone from using a email/discussion board to  using bugzilla to collaborate/manage projects. It'd be nice to have something that integrates with bugzilla. Not everything needs to be a project, but it is nice to have a central place to manage to-do's, deadlines and milestones.
