I have been playing around with weblogging for about 6 months now. I write to a bunch of weblogs via blogger, including my company's blog, WhizSpark.com, and the eureksterblog, a blog about the new personalized social search engine. I've been using blogger's hosted service, blogspot, but have decided to switch over to TypePad. The main reason I am switching is because of TypePad's support for categories. My brain wanders quite a bit on a daily basis and even more over time, so I'd like to be able to organize my weblog accordingly. Plus, it seems that typepad is a bit quicker on introducing new features such as photo albums, typelists, etc. And if I ever decide to switch over to the self-hosted version, movable type, there are a lot of 3rd party plugins that look cool that can be hacked in. Blogger's ftp-ing of files just doesn't compare to that. Lastly, I've decided it'd be best to have a blog, that is branded as "ME". There are too many random thoughts that I have that don't quite fit into any of the weblogs that I write to. So, here will be my catch all.
